What is GreenOps?

GreenOps is a day-0 deployment pipeline platform optimized for Kubernetes-based applications and built on top of the popular open-source project, Argo. GreenOps abstracts deployment complexities away from developers while maintaining the customizability and control DevOps teams require.

The Problem

DevOps engineers today spend a massive amount of time doing tedious deployment plumbing like configuring manifests, writing flaky scripts to piece different tools together, and dealing with escalations. On the other hand, developers have a significant learning curve in understanding the deployment process, and using it without potentially misconfiguring deployments and causing production errors is also a concern.

The Solution

GreenOps removes this overhead by providing a fully paved path for deployment.

GreenOps lets users create fully automated deployment pipelines that run across all their environments, add any number of custom steps (Jenkins job triggers, Terraform steps, etc.), and automate rollbacks to ensure deployment stability. GreenOps provides a central control plane to help provide strong management and visualization capabilities for all deployments/pipelines across environments. Users can get insights into deployment velocity with out-of-the-box metrics and configure strong security policies using pipeline guardrails.
